1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using billu.tools ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service immediately.
2. Description of service
Billu Tools provides free, browser-based file processing utilities including image compression, image resizing, PDF merging, PDF compression, and additional tools as they are added. All core tools are free to use without an account. We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove tools at any time.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to process files containing illegal content, to attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service, to circumvent rate limits or anti-farming measures, to impersonate another person or entity, or to use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law.
4. Intellectual property
The Billu Tools name, logo, mascot, and website design are our intellectual property. Tool output files generated by processing your own files remain entirely your property. We claim no rights over your input or output files.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that tool output will meet any particular standard of quality or accuracy. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Billu Tools and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profit, or damage to your device.
7. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your account. You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@billu.tools.
8. Gamification
Orbs and streak counts are cosmetic rewards with no monetary value. We reserve the right to adjust, reset, or discontinue the gamification system at any time without compensation.
9. Advertising
The Service is supported by Google AdSense display advertising. You agree not to implement ad-blocking measures that violate AdSense policies on your end while using the Service.
10. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
