How does the PDF merger work?
Billu's PDF Merger uses pdf-lib, a pure JavaScript PDF library, to combine your files entirely inside the browser. No server ever touches your documents — they stay private on your device at all times. This makes it ideal for sensitive documents like contracts, tax forms, and medical records.
Drop as many PDFs as you need, then use the ↑ / ↓ arrowsto set the exact order before merging. Each file gets a numbered badge so you always know where it will appear in the final document. Once you're happy with the order, hit "Merge" and your combined PDF is ready to download in seconds.
The tool supports standard PDFs including multi-page documents, mixed orientations (portrait and landscape), and varying page sizes. Password-protected PDFs are not currently supported — remove the password protection first using your PDF reader.
Common use cases: combining multiple scanned invoice pages into one file for accounting, assembling a multi-chapter report from separate exports, merging bank statements for a mortgage application, or joining appendices to a main document before emailing.
Since everything runs locally, there are no file-size limits imposed by server quotas and no waiting for uploads on slow connections. Large PDFs with hundreds of pages merge in a few seconds on any modern device.
