How does the PDF splitter work?
billu.fun's PDF Splitter allows you to quickly and securely split any PDF into multiple smaller files directly inside your browser. No files are ever uploaded to a server, keeping your data entirely private.
To get started, simply drag and drop a PDF file into the dropzone. Once the file is loaded, you will see the total number of pages. You can then specify the page ranges you want to extract. For example, entering "1-5, 6-10" will create two separate PDFs: one containing pages 1 through 5, and another containing pages 6 through 10.
If you create multiple PDFs, you have the option to download them all at once as a convenient ZIP file, or download each extracted PDF individually. This makes it perfect for breaking up large documents into manageable chapters, separating invoices, or extracting only the pages you need to share.
The tool leverages pdf-lib to process the PDF data locally. Since there are no uploads or server quotas, you can split large documents almost instantly, regardless of your internet connection speed.
